Yep, sequel to this one back in March! I finally finished the character design here. :)

Took a few months in the back of my mind, and some attempts at the design on paper, but I seemed to have synthesized the ideas and inspirations I had for this into the new original character of mine- Au.gment, or Auggy, for short. I finally got a more simplified design and body shape for them and it really helped things click!

Also explored how their innards worked too. Au.gment is a sentient crystal that can empower anyone that puts it to their chest. Think magical-girl-transformation but with a mineral that is a companion haha. They typically are in a robot shell with a hole on the chest.

Without much further ado, here is their official ref sheet! I also got to use a new lineart brush for this- pretty happy with it!

I'm thinking of doing something on twitter/FA for it where I can draw people in the suit at some point in the future. :)

Anyhow, it's great to get this done when I struggled with it back in March. Being patient with myself paid off here. Sometimes you need more time to get the ball over the hill.
