Public Spectacle

Hi everyone. It's been a minute since the last public check-in. The headline there is that real life is crazy and so posting has suffered generally. As always, if it's between spending my time working on the game and talking about it, I'll choose the work.

Today I'm going to bring you up to speed on where we are development-wise and also show you some of the lovely new renders that'll be coming in 0.10 - SFW ones only I'm afraid, but a few spicier ones may sneak outside the paywall and over onto my Deviantart later.

The new quest is fully integrated with the game and I am now hard at work on the many, many, many new renders that'll be appearing. This is set to be the biggest quest in the game yet, with scenes upon scenes. We'll be in and out of school and adventuring in some strange places. Jess is an interesting girl and spending time with her will take you to interesting places!

Joining Best Frenemies in this update will be the 11th history lesson in which the girls learn about ancient mythology and that there was actually other world wars before the third one. A recent Discord poll revealed that a majority of players do read these, which is good, as I try to make them as entertaining as I can.

There's no release date on 0.10 yet, but I'm working as hard and as fast as I can and am confident that it'll definitely be before Christmas. The plan is significantly before Christmas as I want to make a short game for the holidays again this year!

Right, for everyone else, let's take a look at what's coming in the new quest!

Much of Missy's interaction in school with Jessica comes in Group Study, so that's where you'll be for part of this quest. This image is actually from a library of "generic" images I'm slowly building to allow more class scenes - even repeatable ones - to eventually be fully rendered.

It just makes it nicer doesn't it? Lovely pictures of our beautiful girls in their short skirts and plunging tops. Even ones with a face as permanently scowl-y as Jessica's.

Moving more specifically into images specific to the quest itself, as we can see, Missy and Jess have some way to go before they'll reach the sunlit, sapphic uplands of becoming lovers!

Though there's... pretty clearly already some chemistry between the girls. Explosive, combustible, and highly toxic though it may be. I hope Natalie's group weren't working on anything important...

A calmer discussion ensues separately at Jessica's house. The last time we were in Jess's bedroom was under veeeerry different circumstances. But this time seems to be less Reign of Jess and more Queen of the Ring.

The girls work on some sort of project together. Missy looks a lot happier about it than Jess, who as usual seems distracted, preferring literally anything else to work.
