Hi everyone, hope your Friday is going great! I'm hard at work on some smut, and taking a quick break to start a new initiative. Today, I'm making a call for testers to look for something specific for me. All that's required, as usual, is that you play the game. However, rather than looking for bugs, what I'm asking you to look for is changes in Missy's personality stats.
Missy AI
In the first few updates, several years ago now, I put the Missy personality matrix into place. This system measures your character's Sluttiness, Subbyness and Rebelliousness. Between them, they assist the game in determining how your girl is being played. The purpose of these traits is to allow me to deliver the content that the game most thinks you want to see. A highly dominant Missy, for example, is clearly being piloted by a player who wants to come out on top - or are they? With Defeat Mode on, it now means they want to fight back their hardest and enjoy the consequences. Which brings me to the point of this testing round.
Following some interesting discussion around the reality of Defeat Mode, there remains a lingering question over how Missy should behave once she is defeated. Many players are happy to see her humbled, and having been forced to capitulate, accept her place. Others would prefer that she never know when she's lost, and react with hatred and resistance even as she's dominated. This seems reasonable, and not too hard to implement for future (and maybe later, past) stuff, as it's mainly expressed through dialogue.
Personality Disorder
To make this work, I need to perfect the personality matrix. Up until now, it's not really been used for all that much - subbyness has been the main thing, and largely used to dictate Missy's reactions to humiliation, with high subbyness eliciting positive responses and low subbyness negative ones. I now want to bring rebelliousness into the mix to determine whether you're playing a sub sub, a brat sub or a dominated domme. This is going to take some working out what I want to mean what, but in the meantime, I also need to see how the system is working right now.
So if you participate in this round of playtesting, you'll be playing the game normally as either sub or domme Missy, (particularly interested in dommes participating as you're a minority,) and reporting back on the changes in the stats. Ideally, you'll track them every few in-game days and throughout the story, but I'd also settle for just a snapshot of what they look like at the end of a run. I just need to check what's influencing them.
For that reason, even if you aren't interested in joining the test, but have recently done a playthrough of the game without using the timeskip, I'm interested in hearing from you too. I just need to know what those three stats are and whether you did a sub, domme or switch playthrough. It doesn't matter whether or not you had Defeat Mode on.
As this test does not involve any new content, the normal rule that you need to have been here through a full billing cycle does not apply. Hell, I may even open this to the public later for a bigger sample size. I've removed the privacy on the Discord testing channel so anyone can take part.
