Back to the matter at hand...

Happy Friday, all. With the public release in the books, Missy Defeated Heroine is behind us and Jess's Relationship quest is ahead! The last thing I'll do with the mini-update is the usual poll and outro post on Wednesday, as it's always good material for a public post. There will also be a minor bugfix release once I'm sure I've got them all.

Currently the only game-breaking one is the Swimming event failing to start, and it's a bit niche as it only happens if it's the day after you get drunk with Lola. There is, however a patch you can find here which fixes both that and some problems with the full gallery unlock. Just follow the instructions in the text file and let me know if you need help.

So now we start to look a little closer at the quest ahead: the fourteenth Missy quest and the third relationship arc: Best Frenemies.

The major players in this story are, of course, Jessica, along with Miss Paris and Miss Fafine, plus one or two new characters that I'll be keeping quiet about for the time being. As always, some story teasers will be trickled out over the coming weeks, while others will remain a complete mystery until you play the game!

So as I get started on the writing and scripting phase of development, we'll start with a few details about who's who and what their role is in this story.

Jessica Merkin
First year bad girl leader

The beautiful but dangerous - and some would say straight-up crazy - brunette is the primary love interest of this story. Dominant and cruel in a way those words are scarcely sufficient to describe, she will attempt to steamroller Missy into submission at every turn. And if you have Defeat Mode enabled, there'll be no stopping her.

Otherwise, if you're to romance this brat, you'll only have three options: find some common ground on which to build a relationship, force her to her knees or get down on yours!

Miss Eva Paris
First Year Class Teacher

Miss Paris has had it up to here with your shit. Seriously, this time you've done it. When she has to separate Missy and Jessica for the umpteenth time, she decides that the time has come to take decisive action. As usual, "decisive action" at Saint Alancia's is a term the girls have very good reason to dread. Miss Paris gives you one week: if your differences aren't settled before the upcoming school disco... well... do you want to know? Expect the usual levels of condescension and punishment from everyone's favourite authority figure.

Miss Helena Fafine
School Counsellor

Despite meeting her in Avenging Angel, then briefly in the full-school assembly, we still know relatively little about this middle-aged milf. Her job is two-fold: firstly to counsel girls who become too shaken by their inhuman treatment and second to resolve disputes exactly like this one. Miss Fafine will drill down, make the girls confront their feelings head-on and explore them in a... erm... safe... environment. Her "intimate methods" have long been trailed and now we'll get to see them up close!
