Announcing Chapter 6: The Reign of Jess (Part 3)

The Council has voted and the next quest to be added to Missy will be the sixth part of the main storyline in which the Reign of Jess reaches its climax. Pun intended.

One last chance

Abbie has repaid her "debt" to Emily and awakes for her second day of searching Fivaviana for any clues about Elizabeth Paris. But her time is running out, and she is still no closer to finding the secret that Jessica is holding over their teacher or how to stop it. Her only lead is the mysterious and elegant corporate attaché, Scarlett Raine.

The Reign of Jess comes to its amazing conclusion. It's time to throw caution to the wind and get into Elizabeth's house in any way you can! Once inside you must try to finally piece together Miss Paris's secret, then return in time for the confrontation with Jessica. And it won't be as easy as that, as the secrets and mysteries of Fivaviana threaten to engulf Abbie and prevent her from returning at all.

Meanwhile, in Sapphory City, Jessica's friends arrive to join her in playing with a broken and compliant Missy. It may already be too late, as without your influence to protect her, our heroine bows defeated at her rival's feet, her mind having accepted servitude and slavery.

Is all hope already lost? Did Missy really capitulate, mind body and soul at the end of Chapter five* or is she trying to deceive Jess? And if so, will it work? Or will she be found out and broken for real? One thing is clear, Jess has to be stopped here and now if our girl is to have any future at all.

Risk everything, delve into unimaginable secrets and lies, and finally find the truth about Miss Paris that will set Missy free in the Reign of Jess (Part 3) coming in Missy 0.8!

Poll Discussion

This poll was an almost exact recreation of the 0.7 poll, producing a similar plurality for the main storyline. Slave to Love continues to be a popular choice and it will be interesting to see what happens next time when it most likely goes head-to-head with Jessica's long-awaited relationship quest.

We had some drama in early voting, with a very tight contest. Slave to Love took the lead at least once during this time and I thought we may have another Avenging Angel-style upset on our hands, but then Chapter 6 opened up a healthy lead. Turnout was very low this time, with many members abstaining. If council members need more time in future or something else, please do message me. Otherwise, if your abstention was by choice, that's fair enough.

Chapter 6 will finish Act 1 and pause the main storyline for a while now, Chapter 7 won't be offered in the next council poll, and we'll be concentrating on wrapping up some of these Act 1 quests and getting the game properly geared for Act 2. Once I have it completely sorted what the structure of that act will look like, we'll have some fresh options. 

I may or may not do a mini-update after 0.8, in the same way as I did after Avenging Angel, as this story will likewise result in some seismic changes at the school. Without spoilers, I will say it won't be getting any less strict, let's put it that way. Basically it'll depend on how we're doing for time. If I make good speed with Chapter 6 and whatever else ends up going into the next update, I'll include the Act 2 introductory scene, otherwise, it'll be in the mini-update.

We have our course for 0.8, and I'm excited to tell the rest of this story!
