Ready to Rumble
Added 2023-12-14 15:53:41 +0000 UTCHi everyone. Welcome to this public update. I'm basically finished with 0.7 but paralysed by the absence of my rendering machine as it's still in for repairs. I'm hoping this will not stop a pre-Christmas supporter release but that's sadly not in my hands.
So today, let's talk about the last part of the update, the second Pussy Pit fight and combat overhaul. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this outside the paywall before, but this update will feature the second wrestling opponent, Raquel, a young student who needs the money. I'd throw some clothes on her character model to show you, but, y'know, no computer.
Stage one of the combat overhaul will be in public beta throughout the life of 0.7, so all feedback on how it changes the fights is welcome. The main changes are:
- Grapple is now guaranteed, but no longer does poison damage. When grapple is applied, it has a 65% chance to also apply a new effect, demoralized, which does the poison damage grapple used to do.
- If both combatants attempt to grapple in the same round, neither will be grappled.
- Rip Bra/Panties have had their rolls tweaked.
There may be other small changes, but remember that if you're not interested in combat at all, you can now skip it altogether with the new Narrative Mode!

After a third unsuccessful attempt, you would be considered pinned and the match would be over. Examples of pins would be the schoolgirl pin, crossbody pin, grapevine pin, and the cradle pin. Also, you could only pin your opponent if their energy dropped below 100.
