4K Retrospective - 2021

Hi everyone. I had very little time over the weekend to work on the game, so there isn't really anything new to report since Friday, but for those of you in the schoolgirl tier, some good news! You are probably aware that Prefects and Council members receive a monthly pack of images rendered at 4K (approximately nine times the size of the in-game images.)

Last week, I put up a poll asking what those supporters thought of older 4k images being shown (in a much smaller size) outside of their posts, such as in article headers or on Deviantart. As you can see, they unanimously agreed that not only is that fine, but that 3 months is long enough to wait before that happens, with only a small number even thinking it should be longer than one month. So three keeps everyone happy, but occasionally, I may release after one, if there's a good reason to do so. However, the only way you'll ever be able to get them in 4K is by joining the appropriate support tier.

The images are sometimes off-the-wall or non-canon, depicting things that don't happen in the game, sometimes sexy, sometimes funny, sometimes just bigger versions of particularly good renders from the game or remasters. Since we've got the go-ahead, today's post is the first of a series in which we'll have a look back over some of the old ones, beginning all the way back in 2021. I've curated a list that gives a representative sample of the sort of things I've been putting in, and as we progress through the series, you should also see how things have improved over time, as some of these older ones are really showing their age now! (They're also quite tame compared to some of the stuff in the most recent one...)

June 2021

In the very first picture pack, I set out my stall of using these to depict some funny or different situations that would be unlikely to make it into the game, at least any time soon. This was one of two in that pack that showed the girls trying different things for the group play. Jessica wasn't amused at the version in which she was the maid. The pack also featured the sunbather, a shot of Lola and debuted the reddened backside effect that I realised pretty quickly I'd need for the game.

July 2021

Missy found herself forced to wear the slutty maid outfit while cleaning at home in July's pack, as well as some more bondage with Lola, sleeping in the nude and getting upskirted at school, while I also showed the bad girls relaxing in the park. While this scene was later topped by the nude cleaning punishment in Queen of the Ring, maybe at some point we'll see something like it in the game!

August 2021

This is definitely my favourite picture from the third pack. This one once again focused on characters and themes from 0.1 as Poppy's Story was still under development.  As well as this great shot of what happened with Missy and Lola on their date, we saw Missy kissing Jess for the first time, some more maid work for Emily, a shot of Miss Abbie and a wacky scene of Missy touching herself while imagining an orgy in which every participant was herself!

September 2021

Trinian's girls was my favourite from the September pack, which also featured Jess getting up close and personal with Poppy, a shot of Missy and Stacey in the shower, the girls in their bikinis and Karen cleaning the house in her lingerie, not realising the girls were home. As some of you will be aware, my handle is a reference to Saint Trinians, which if you've never seen it is well worth a watch if you like anarchic comedy. I was especially pleased with goth Lola.

October 2021

October's pack featured Missy in strict bondage, a first look at the naughty window, Nissa's victory in the pit and a scene of Missy and Jess fighting in the orchard. But the one that probably took the most effort was one of Jess's less sophisticated pranks - stealing Missy's skirt and making her chase her around the yard. Ah, how innocent she used to be before she started blackmailing teachers!

November 2021

With Chapter 3 in the wild, I let my creativity loose on this shot of Captain Renée Sparrow and her beautiful daughter. It was joined by Missy and Jess in trouble at school, Karen in the bath, the first shot of the school swimming pool, and Missy making out with Mary to troll Jess.

December 2021

I still think Jess's nightwear in Christmas Eva is one of the hottest things I've ever put my girls in,(or maybe it's just her that makes it look that good,) and definitely served as a clue that it was all Missy's fantasy. December's picture pack was heavily Eva-themed, but there was also a couple of unique scenes of the medical students abusing our hapless protagonist and an alternate timeline. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

Prefect and Council members of a certain vintage will hopefully have enjoyed this trip down memory lane, and for everyone else, I hope you've enjoyed this glimpse of my early picture packs - we'll take a look at the first half of 2022 next time!
