Keeping the Peace

Hello everyone. The hoped-for quieter weekend ended up being even busier instead. Real life is crazy right now, and progress is slower than hoped for, but with the new quest nearly done, that just leaves a couple of the smaller events to finish up and then the rest of the pictures to make.  I'll be assembling the beta test team soon.

For today, let's pass the time with a lore post.  The prefects, winners of the most recent poll, will be getting new content in this update, but how much do we really know about these beauties?  Let's talk about both them and their role at the school.

Ever since the position was first created, those fifth years who most impress the teachers are offered the chance to become prefects.  They are empowered to police the halls, maintain order and can strip girls as far as their underwear, as well as put them on the punishment plinth in this state.  As their powers are quite broad, they are closely supervised by the teachers, though this does not prevent them from having their way with girls who wish to avoid punishment.  They are also tasked with putting girls into isolation, which we will look at properly later.

The upside for them (besides the aforementioned opportunity to molest their schoolmates,) is that they are granted greater latitude with their own school work and have their own base of operations, the prefect lounge.  Because they are drawn from the best behaved girls in the school, they require no special treatment in this area, though to maintain their air or authority in the eyes of the other pupils, they are exempt from public uniform inspections and in the event that they do need to be punished for something, it will be done privately.

Miss Paris was a prefect in her days at the school, and it is possible that this is where she gained her taste for dominating schoolgirls.

The current occupants of the position are Cindy Meir and Hayley Victoria.  Cindy spent four years as an exceptionally well-behaved pupil, steering clear of any trouble and diligently completing all of her work to the highest standard.

Hayley on the other hand is a legendary Popular Girl who has indulged in a variety of outrageous behaviour, and a lifestyle of sex, drink and debauchery.  However neither her mothers nor the teachers are aware of this, and at school, her behaviour is above reproach.

Hayley perfected this double life from a young age, as she discovered that being thought of as the perfect daughter gave her a lot of freedom at home, and applied this same logic to school. At the end of fourth year, it is the job of Miss Cuchucha, the fourth year teacher, to make recommendations to the headmistress about who to appoint.  Hayley made it her mission to ensure her name went forward.

The name of her best friend and former lover Angel was also suggested, but she turned it down, seeing the job as a tedious distraction from her own studies, and so Hayley was instead paired with Cindy, whom she has quickly corrupted.

Most girls at the school show respect to the prefects, knowing that they possess the power to make their own lives more difficult. The one exception is, of course, the bad girls, who delight in antagonising and goading the prefects, which usually ends badly for them. The other girls at the school know that the prefects are an extension of the teachers' control over them, and behave accordingly.

I hope you've enjoyed this little look into the workings of the school, the prefects will get their fourth scene in the next update, and have plenty more planned after that!
