Chapter 4 - a recap

Hello everyone!  I'm feeling especially great today, it's Friday, which is one of my main days for working on my game, and with the beta test well underway, and more stuff being found now that we have the wider player base of the general public, I am finishing up the last little bits of work I need to do on the remaster while also having, as of yesterday, resumed work on Chapter 4 with a bit more writing.

However, as the last time we properly talked about Chapter 4 was waaay back in March, I think it's well worth reminding ourselves of what we know about it so far.  So I trawled back through a load of my old posts so you don't have to!  (Below are the old renders at the old size, by the way.  They'll be fully remastered before release.)

The Day from Hell

I'm sure that no one will have forgotten that Chapter 4 is The Reign of Jess (Part 1) - a scripted, non-repeating school day in which Missy's humiliations will be significantly ramped up.  With both of our most popular frenemies Miss Paris and Jessica starring in this story, it's everything you've been asking for and hopefully more.

Chapter 4 will also feature a number of graphical advances, including the first tentative uses of full-blown animation.

The punishment outfit

One of the last things I spoiled before announcing MZ was the St Alancia's punishment outfit, somewhat unwillingly modelled here by Missy.  Our luckless girl will be sporting this thing during the day from hell, making sure the entire school gets to see her humiliation, (among other things.)

It's one thing to be stripped or even put on the punishment plinth, but to be made to simply go about your day as if everything was normal, but while wearing this... well... The possibilities are endless, and it's highly unlikely that my use of this little ensemble will be limited to Chapter 4 now that it exists.

Samira's new look

Introduced in Down with the Bad Girls!  Samira now has her own character model and face set.  She'll be featuring in Chapter 4, and will shortly be around Saint Alancia's to talk to at other times too.  

And much much more...

School Council polls also set the other threads I'll be developing in 0.5 besides Chapter 4.  Poppy is getting some new content, and a new relationship system in which subby Missy must keep her mistress happy, while dominant Missy must work to prevent her from furthering her goal of taking over Saint Alancia's and supplanting the popular girls.  This is all leading up to the next part of Poppy's story, which I expect will be high on most people's wish lists once The Reign of Jess is complete.

As well as that, Stacey will be getting some new content, and if I have time, the strip club will be developed, with a new scene for Lara and the option to start earning money there.  This may end up getting bumped to 0.6 in the rush to finally put out some new content, but we'll see how we're doing for time once the other stuff slated for 0.5 is nearing completion.

I also have another great new idea that I hope to find the time to implement in 0.5 - but again, it may end up being bumped, so I'll keep schtum about that for now and show you it once I have more development on it done, and hopefully some naughty pictures.

There's only been one really specific game-breaker discovered in Beta round 3 so far, so there's no need for me to put out a new version yet.  I've added face sets now for Poppy, Nissa and Miss Cuchucha, so they'll be featuring in the next build.  Keep those bug reports coming.  For those on Discord, this has now moved to the Nurse's Office channel.
