Miss Sapphory Poll Results

Hello, everyone!  It's Friday, and even though I've had to go into work today instead of being able to work on my game as I normally would, I've nonetheless found the time to post the results of our recent poll.  Let's take a look at those results first:

Two things to note about this poll: firstly, I forgot to include Nissa.  No one mentioned her, so I don't think she'd have been near the top, but she should have been an option.  Second, I really probably shouldn't have included Stacey.  In a poll of secondary characters, she's a bit of a big fish in the small pond, so her win here doesn't really tell us anything.

So what does this tell us?  Well, that even among secondary characters, girls that are antagonistic to our heroine remain the most popular.  Vicky, Emma, Allison and Chantelle, all  bad girls are near the top of the table, along with Miss Cuchucha, who's major involvement with our heroine so far has been to punish her.

What really interests me though is the unexpectedly strong showing for Melissa, who was only just pipped to third place.  (Maybe for the best as I don't know if the meme would have worked as well with her instead of Allison!)  She jumped off to an early lead last week and I've been following the voting with interest ever since.  She is neither an antagonist, nor a character that has been particularly strongly developed yet, so I'd be fascinated to know what people like about her.  Is it that you want to see her act on Missy's fantasy to overpower and ravish her, do you like the idea of a sporty, athletic girl or do you just like the character model?  Maybe I'm overthinking and she was just a lot of people's third choice.

While the poll is still fresh in everyone's mind, let me follow it up with another question: What were your motivations for voting the way you did?  Again, this is all useful research and helps me know if I'm going in the right direction with my choices.
