Also, guy you recognized, but couldn't place immediately was Melshi. He was the guy who escaped Narkina with Cassian in season 1. The gun that Vel looked at was the gun that Cassian gave to Melshi. It was the gun that Cassian took off of Syril in season 1 and brought with him to Aldhani, it's why she recognized it.
