Cecil was kinda of his father figure in s2, so the chip thing just broke him, that the guy that always said he wasn't he's father was the first scared the he might be.

2025-03-17 21:04:23 +0000 UTCThe thing with Cecil is that when confronted with Marks accusations of whats happening infront of the guardians he doesn't try and explain. its my way or the highway kind of thing. Then the guardians see mark screaming in agony and the reanimen come in to beat him down. Makes sense the guardians follow Mark when Cecil did nothing but exacerbate the situation. Even when he told them to shut the reanimen off they continued to beat Mark. It shows he can't actually properly control them.
