Added 2024-09-14 13:16:37 +0000 UTCI had a comment on the last chapter of Phenex Rises and realized it's been over a week since I put that out. So, first and foremost, I am alive!
Second, I'm about halfway done with the next chapter of Fabricator. However, at that point, an idea smacked me in the face. It's just a small one so it'll only end up as a snippet, but it demands it be written, so I am. It's about sixty percent done and once I finish it I'll throw it up here and return to the Fabricator chapter. That should only be another day or two max.
After that, I might write a Game Master or Phenex Rises chapter. We'll see.

I don't think it'll be that great, but even if it's good it will only be a snippet for a while. I've got three good stories going and plan to work on them for the time being. This one chapter is just a distraction... Well, unless you guys go crazy over it like The Phenex Rises.

2024-09-14 21:16:55 +0000 UTCA comment a while back on fanfiction asked me if I even liked the fandoms I write in because of some opinions I have on characters. Like my love/hate feelings toward Issei in DxD or Midoriya in MHA. It got me thinking because I honestly do like them for what they are. But I also see their flaws, especially the really big ones, and take that into account with my writing. As we all know, in a real-world setting, Issei would have been expelled and likely have a criminal record as a sex offender, along with his two butt buddies. That's just facts. Anyway, the comment stuck with me and I ended up thinking about Midoriya and MHA. The kid could have been a moderately successful hero just by leveraging his intelligence and putting in some effort. Earaserhead is a perfect example of what he could be capable of. When up against Mutant-types, his Quirk is near useless, yet in the USJ event he kicked some SERIOUS ass despite that. There is NOTHING that would prevent Midoriya from going down a similar path, especially if he leveraged his intelligence into building support gear to go Batman/Iron Man on villain ass. So, that is what I'm writing, with a few tweaks. Kind of a deal with the devil thing that got an SI some boosts to make it a little easier. While the boosts have the potential to be OP, given the time frame of the show they wont be able to leveraged at their full potential before the End War happens. So, in short, Batman/Iron Man Midoriya. Hardly original I'm sure.
