Hey you!
I hope you're doing well!
Today, I wanted to share with you this photoshoot I am quite proud of to be honest. And as usual, I'll tell you a bit about the context!
If you don't know her yet, Marie Boiseau is a super cool illustrator. I love how her art is so accessible and feel good, while always being honest. Here is a little example of her work, and you can follow her on Instagram.

I've known her work for a little while now, but we weren't much in contact until I moved to Nantes. Long story short, I'm lucky to call her my friend now.
What wasn't my surprise when she commissioned me for a photoshoot! First, I fell extremely thankful to see how much she respected my work and also it is always so magical when people give me the opportunity to let me show them how I see them.
The session went smoothly, and I was so amazed to see how her natural color palette matched perfectly with the set. She was just so beautiful (as usual). I can't say much about the session, since it is always a private moment, but basically, we laughed a lot, and I had a great time.
As usual, once I started sending out the pictures, I started stressing out a bit. My worst nightmare is that people find themselves ugly on the images and that it makes them feel worse than before. And I really really really didn't want my work to have this effect on my friend. But luckily, she seemed to like most of them!
The way she handled the whole situation was so kind, respectful and humble, and while sometimes working with friends can be a challenge, this experience definitely made me appreciate her even more.
And I am absolutely mind blown to see the way these pictures have been received by our audiences! I was already really touched by the constant support french audience shows me, but right now, it is just unbelievable.
I hope you like this photoshoot as much as I do, and that it gave you the opportunity to discover Marie Boiseau or see a new aspect of her, through my little eyes. :)
Thank you for always being so great,
Talk to you soon,
Flavie.
