Defined PBR 1.1.8 - The Wild Update - Full Release!

After a few months of developing many parts of the pack, Defined PBR's next update is finally ready to be released! Some of the major features (as you might have seen in previous early access posts) include full 1.19 block support, fully functional fixes for the Warden, massive improvements to the water textures, remastered old heightmaps, and even a new 1.19 themed panorama!

First of all, here's the look of a few remastered blocks! I've given their heightmap  more definitive designs, and have converted the amethyst cluster materials to 16x16 to better fit within the resolution!

In total I have reworked or updated the materials and heightmaps for all of the blocks in this screenshot, bringing them much more true to vanilla visuals:

I have updated the main menu panorama to include the new Mangrove Swamp biome as well:

A lot of work went into fixing the various issues with the Warden's rendering in RTX, so I decided to create a direct comparison shot for my fix:

As for the status of full entity PBR texture implementation, it will most likely be included in the next update to the pack. For now, here is the full changelog for this release!

That's a weird issue that I haven't seen elsewhere. I'm going to be uploading version 1.20 of the pack to the patreon later so it might be worth testing that once it's released.

idk there is a addon on mcpedl called "Bushy Leaves addon". Author just created a new block instead of modify vanilla's

Bushy leaves are unfortunately impossible to achieve at the moment, since resource packs cannot alter the models of vanilla blocks yet.

It is currently the same version, but more will be coming in next month's Patreon release. I've been planning on working a lot more on the entity PBR sandbox, and finalizing the behaviours of the Dynamic Lighting addon for release.

Hello :D Why the glass change the texture when you go far away? When you go far away, the textures goes less detailed, i noticed it a lot in redstone lamps. Is there a way to prevent that and take full details in long distances? Because i dont like it when i have to take pics of perimeters or big farms... Another thing, is there a way to improve the quantity of render chunks in rtx? i only can use 24 chunks and even i cant change it with onix. Thanks

What's new compared to the previous early access release is completely remastered water textures, a fix for the top texture of the sculk shrieker, and rematered PBR textures for all leaves, gravel, scaffolding, amethyst buds, (and many more), as well as several new additions to the pack addons. Ancient debris is now in glowing ores and luminosity, the sculk blocks are in luminosity, clear water has been updated, and the fog addons have been updated for mangrove swamp support along with the main pack.

Is anything different compared to the early release?

Currently the only way I can is through an addon that recreates candles from vanilla. Defined PBR has full support for candles should Mojang end up fixing them, but for now I like to use the addon in showcase screenshots since they are intended to work properly.
