2021-06-23 01:02:51 +0000 UTCI don't remember this arc all that well, but I think, watching this episode again, that Moria only needed to explicitly release the shadows when they were bound to a zombie, now that all the Island shadows are inside him he actually made it easier for Luffy, its just a matter of punching him till he lets every shadow escape

2021-06-23 00:15:31 +0000 UTCWhen Moria first stole Luffy's shadow, he mentioned that he wouldn't have lost to Kaido in the new world if he had a zombie and a shadow like this. So yeah, he's talking a lot through personal experience at the end here
