It's all good Neel my bro; my recommendation would be to try watching it in dub. The dub of this show is one where even the sub elitists will say, "Yeah I can tolerate it" meaning it's bloody good. Regardless, I hope you'll continue watching Code Geass and I will be here either way

As someone who has watched both dub and sub, I can say that the dub is actually pretty good. So at least give it a few episodes and see if you like it, it would be a pity to just drop the show only 4 eps into it

I've become primarily a sub watcher cause most dubs are just disappointing in quality to sub. But I can 100% say Code Geass dub is on the higher tier of dubs.

Im a dub hater, but this show is in the upper echelon for dub so i can tolerate it, personally. The only other shows i can watch in dub is FMAB, Cowboy Bebop, and ofc Ghost Stories LOL

something you could do to inform your decision would be to do a poll with varying degrees of like to dislike of dub, i personally hate dub and would never watch a chapter with dub (reaction or just myself), but maybe most people rather sub but dont hate dub

Not watched this show bud. But I do know that this anime does have a good dub unlike most. For those who need subtitles to understand, I do think switching is the best option if the format you are watching atm is affecting your reactions to it negatively. I don't remember when it happened for me, but I no longer need subtitles for anime when I watch. I can't speak any Japanese aside from some random words, but some how I can listen to it and know whats going on. An other option is reading the manga aside from dropping the show which is not fair to you, as you took the time and made a decision to watch it. Clearly you have interest in it. For your channel manga may not be the right move for you. So If you truly want to watch the show do so in a format that you can enjoy it. Ty for all the content.

The dub is great. I really recommend giving like 1-2 episodes of dubbed a watch. Would be a shame if you miss out on this masterpiece of a show, and if we miss out on your reaction to it.

I recommend watching Code Geass in Dub. I watched the entire thing in sub and I agree that it is hard to read because there are a lot of information you have to read and to process.

Honestly I'd say watch dubbed. I'm not only watching you react but also rewatching the show with you since it's been awhile and even my eyes are just glued to the subtitles. The dub is great and at worst it'll take an episode or two to get used to but at least you can react properly to everything it has to offer cause I remember it being a great anime.

All of the people that have such a big problem with dub need to grow up. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and the subtitles is the only thing that he has an issue with. Why would he drop a show that he likes if the only problem he has is reading the subtitles? Now, if he is just blaming subtitles because he doesn't want to say he dislikes the show then just drop it. However, if the issue is the subtitles then just watch the dub. This is one of the shows that most people watch the dubbed version for anyways and it generally loved by everyone except for the elitist that think that they are doing gods work by looking down on dub anime watchers...

It's okay the show is so complicated I even dropped it(although this was also when my house burned down so I couldn't watch it) I would recommend watching dub sub is too hard to follow sometimes

I think there was no problem with your reaction because this anime is kinda complicated i mean you have to concentrate a lot so it was okay . My native language is hungarian so my only option is to watch anime with sub but i don't mind it. I think the japanese voice actors especially for lelouch is perfect and yeah anime is better with sub but i can understand your issue and if you can't read and understand the show at the same time then watch this with dub. It's your decision and personally i will follow your reactions with dub too. (apart from that i don't like english voice actors too much :DDD).

I know people voted for Sub but I highly suggest watching Dub since it is a lot of info and one of the only ones I do recommend Dubbed. There will always be people who say Dub is better or Sub is better but it really boils down to your enjoyment. If you think you will enjoy it in Dub then watch it Dub.

Totally understand you, its very heavy and convoluted story. But trust me, its worth it in the end! Go with the pace you comfortable, maybe 1 ep per week or switch to dub. As long as you enjoy story, and i think you will if you give it a chance.

Bro, take a deep breath. Calm down your four episodes into a fifty episode show. They needed to lay the groundwork because the story is huge and there are a lot of people involved in the story. Once you get introduced to everyone, then you'll be able to understand what's going on. You've been guessing pretty accurately on what's happening next so you grasping the show. Maybe 2 episodes are to much to watch just go back to 1 because there is alot packed in one episode. I personally didn't have a issue with the reaction so idk about that front but yea the show is amazing and I'd had for you not to see it from burnout only 4 episodes in

Maybe try it in dub? I know we had a poll for it and by no means am I suggesting that you just overthrow all the votes who wanted sub, but if you genuinely enjoy the show for what you’ve seen and want to continue it it’s worth a shot! And if you don’t like the way the dub sounds and it takes away from the vibe of the show then there’s no hard feelings (speaking mainly for myself but potentially others as well). No reason to force yourself to keep watching it and uploading if you the creator aren’t satisfied with what you put out! (I’ve also enjoyed the uploads as of episodes 3-4)
