@Neeldesai there's a movie explaining Tatsuya's upbringing along with Miyuki and her mother's past too. The movie is called The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc. I would've preferred u watched it before starting season 1 but I was too late in mentioning it

You have to wait till the last few episodes of the seasons to have answers to some things that come up in the first few episodes. They really string you along and make you want to watch the next episode to find out what's going on. This show is crazy good.
