2023-10-02 00:00:33 +0000 UTCJust a small clarification with no spoiler: Tatsuya really has low "processing skill" like he says. This is why he is not using a general CAD like his sister and other characters, and why the trolley exercise (pulling the cart back and forth) really is hard for him. The school exam primarily focuses on this processing criteria, hence why he is a course 2 student. However, it's clear that he has amazing overall abilities (his hand-to-hand, reading the magic sequence before it's used, and more). Unfortunately, it's not taken into account in this school. Processing is only a part of magic usage in this world, but he is ACTUALLY bad at it. At this point, this is all I can say. Very hype for this show!
