And while in School, outside of lessons, students are only allowed to carry them when they have some special position like being part of the student council or disciplinary committee. Tatsuya ist he older one, he was born in April Miyuki was born in March of the next year, they are 11 months apart. But that’s why they are in the same grade even though Tatsuya is nearly a year older. (In Japan school starts in spring). The students were surprised about the teacher because the general course 2 classes don’t have a teacher in attendance in the room itself (there simply aren’t enough teachers), they basically get the same access to information, materials and assets as Course 1 students, but they have to learn a large part of it through self-study and their own initiative (they can still ask teachers for help, but it mostly happens through their terminals (the desks they are sitting on) not in person).

It's mainly a Japan thing, but in Australia we did have something similar; High School Captains and Vice Captains, one of each for each gender. We also had the Student Representative Council (SRC) where each year had 1 of each gender represent their year group. We would meet up weekly to discuss future events in the school and help the teachers plan things out. 3. The anime came out in 2014. Will edit if anything else comes up

The “Chi” from “Chiba” means 1000, the “Nana” from “Nanakusa” (Saegusa) means 7. There’s also “Ichi” for 1, “Yotsu” for 4, “Ku” for 9, and “Juu” for 10 which will show up during the show.
