2023-09-10 14:29:15 +0000 UTCAlice in Wonderland is the same kind of classic old story as Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty And The Beast, Red Riding Hood, etc. Worth having the gist of the story for the context sake, as it's obviously nothing spoilerous since it's one of those stories that the show expects everyone to already know.

2023-08-25 17:13:27 +0000 UTCSome information that was skipped/changed in the anime: - Kirito wasn't supposed to even learn that Sword Skills are a thing in the underworld until next episode - Logically that means there weren't supposed to be any light effects for Kirito either when he tried to cut down the Gigas Cedar (and Kirito never showed up Zink (the brat that is man-at-arms) by using one) - Their failed attempts at trying to cut down the Gigas Cedar with the Blue Rose Sword actually properly shaved off part of their life, if they continued they would kill themselves before managing to do any significant damage to the life of the tree. - Kirito right now has the physical prowess of an average 17 y.o in Underword. Well the anime is kind of allergic to letting Kirito just be himself and has to make him look cool at all times. Kind of ironic that anime wont accept him just being himself considering imposter syndrome, the feeling of not living up to the persona of the "Black Swordsman" that he created as a facade to protect himself back in Aincrad, is one of his big struggles, well besides a metric ton of survivors guilt and trauma. (The whole struggle gets more or less cut out as it happens mostly internally and the anime is also allergic to inner monologues)

2023-08-25 03:49:53 +0000 UTChey neel! so just a heads up, but SAO alicization censors some heavy blood scenes in the original anime. so I recommend switching to the blu-ray version which has the uncensored blood, plus a lot of improvements in the animation. it doesn't take away much from the experience if you don't, but it is recommended.
