Pretty much by the time you get to the Japenese versions is when I cut out of the anime. Its obviously my biased opinion from growing up with them but the original english openings could never be topped for me. Also I just sort of grew out of pokemon by that point and went into more other anime. I just didn't really care much about the consistent new characters they were throwing in to go with Ash on his journey. I would say Gen 5 is right around the time I stopped. Although if I remember right by that point the series had already had around like 500 episodes I think. Probably around 500 episodes and I think there was like 12-14 movies they had made that I watched by that point. Overall its still a shit load of content. Still loved the pokemon games no matter what though.

When you get around to the first pokemon movie you are gonna cry your head off. Don't watch it right off the bat though. You need to be somewhat invested in the world of pokemon before you get to the first movie. I think their should be lists online saying when to watch the movies in the proper order to the episodes

It sucks you couldn't enjoy this during your childhood. These openings were the shit back in those days. I can remember waking up for school and only wanting to get up to watch pokemon before I left and play my pokemon games on my nintendo. The good old days.....

? I’ve already watched Vinland saga on my second channel “Sour Taste” full season 1 & we’re watching season 2 as well. I have not watched Tokyo Revengers tho but this is not the new show coming to the channel. All of these vids are extra content that I’m recording whenever I have free time after recording weekly episodes.

Something funny I noticed for Pokemon Ops, after seeing a video with timestamps of all ops, they get shorter over time, which is interesting. Guess USA decided to cut out the time for OPs, unlike anime in Japan or something.
