Everyone already said how Book of the End works, yet you will actually realise just how crazy manipulation of the past is in coming episodes. Because you still do not realise how overpowered that ability is.

If I were to place an object in one location, but I make you remember me placing that object in another location, it is not as if the object itself has actually moved. Hope this helps, stay real Neel. Also, sidenote, when he cuts his arm in the manga the entire arm is cut off.
