Bleach Episode 306-309 Reaction(UNCUT)

@ Jasper: I somewhat agree, somewhat disagree. Given facts revealed in the Thousand Year Blood War, and what we know about the powers of the world of Bleach, it does actually make sense that Ichigo would be so strong. It's also true that if you look closely, the hints and foreshadowing of those TYBW spoilers that reveal why Ichigo is so strong have been there since even the beginning of the series, we just lacked the details or context to be able to fully piece it together until it was revealed fully. In that way, it's very well written, as all the clues and hints are there; but at the same time, at this point in the story, we don't have the context to piece those clues together, to connect the dots and understand why this makes sense, and so it SEEMS like it's just the "bullshit protagonist powers" trope. Yet, at the same time, I don't see a good place or time earlier in the story for the full explanation of Ichigo's strength to come. It's a bit of a paradox, really. I see the problems with the lacking explanation, but looking at Bleach's story, I honestly have no idea just how or where Tite Kubo could fix it, or if that's even possible. Yet, in some ways, I can also see the theme of, "Sometimes you don't have time for a full explanation because circumstances won't allow it, you've just got to act on what you've got and work with what you have." and it's entirely possible that Kubo was actually going for that very idea, which is in some ways really realistic. ...So yeah, I see where you're coming from, but I also see what Kubo was doing, and have the knowledge from later in the story for why this makes sense. As such, as I've said, I both agree and disagree with your complaint.

To be honest everything else is great, but I still hate these bullshit protagonist powers. Aizen becomes a god and the Ichigo gets bullshit training for a few episodes and unlocks bullshit powers and boom he is stronger than Aizen who was born op and it still took centuries of planning and experimenting to get to his level. Lazy writing. It is similar to that stupid Madara death. Author creates a cool villain who is too strong and you are left with no believable way to defeat him, so you resort to bullshit. Writers really should invent the way to beat the villain at the same time as they decide their abilities. All in all much better ending would have been to let Aizen win and then see him go and kill the soul king. It would have avoided so many tropes and made this series better and it would have been somewhat more unique, to have the obvious protagonist be a pawn till the end.

ep.306 "both of us is your power" hold more weight then we all originally think

Deathmask

He will, he will. It was clearly said in this video that he will need to watch 3 episodes per live stream to finish canon Bleach episodes in two-three weeks.

I am hoping you are doing a reaction to the Fullbringer Arc. There's is one more full arc before the new anime drops :)

This is why Bleach is my favorite series. Gin with the revenge plot centuries in the making, becoming the one person Aizen trusted just to take him down. When his plan crumbles he leaves it to Ichigo, the boy he berated for being weak, because he knew deep down Ichigo would pull through. And Aizen's speech at the end just adds to an already great villian.

Coolguystorm

You'd be surprised just how few fights Ichigo actually has in the tybw arc.
