2021-12-22 23:25:41 +0000 UTCIt is like you said lol. Most anime are not released in seasons, just arcs. Japan does not have a release schedule anything like America. In general anime is released week to week with some missed weeks all year, not just for a few months then a break then for a few more. The anime simply gets pulled when numbers drop or the episodes they planned on finish the run. After that it is replaced by another. Bleach was pulled due to a severe drop in ratings post a certain point and it was decided to finish the run where it did several months prior even though a whole new arc had already been in the manga for months.
