When it comes to the Naruto sub vs. dub, I like both but usually watch dub in part due to it being how I was first exposed to Naruto. As for reactions, I'm not sure what works best. On the one hand, sub may motivate you to pay more attention to the words, but on the other I think dub lets you give a more relaxed reaction and pay more attention to the visuals. Frankly, since you find it easier to watch the dub if it were up to me then I'd want you to do that as your enjoyment of/engagement in the episodes is a big draw of watching your reactions. But I understand that you gotta go with whatever the majority of your watchers want.
