Picnic at Hanging Rock I suggested too after I been watching a lot of videos about the making of it on youtube around the time. Some of those videos suggest the later director's cut by Peter Weir actually took scenes out that were in the original theatrical release so I would prefer to see the theatrical version of the film. I tried to watch the movie on my Prime-Amazon streaming service in recent weeks but it tells me it is not available in my location which is ironic, as Hanging Rock is less than two hours drive from me. So It good timing it will be on here this weekend as been hanging out to see it again.

Been watching a lot of videos related to the making of Picnic at Hanging Rock movie and the original author so really looking forward to actually watching the movie in full for first time since I was a little kid.

2025-08-25 12:53:49 +0000 UTCPicnic at Hanging Rock is a masterpiece. I guess having it on the wheel×3 really helped it's chances. 😆 I would suggest the director's cut all the way but the theatrical is worth a look if you like the film. It and Mulholland Dr. will be a hell of a one-two punch.
