That is an 18 year old Shawnee Smith, Amanda From saw and also an Exrta in the movie Annie (1982) i bet most people didnt know that. And you Mentioned Chuck Russell, He also Directed The Mask with Jim Carry under the name Charles Russell. and his first feature Film A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 3 (1987)

2025-07-24 01:34:48 +0000 UTCPoor Captain Esteridge. Unlike half his local police force, he survived John Ryder only to wind up devoured by the blob. Deputy Paul McCrane has melted before. Wasn't fun so he bent over backwards to not go through that again. I saw this as a kid and Shawnee Smith was one of my earliest crushes. It was weird being so familiar with her from this film and then going on to see her play more unruly characters in most of her later stuff. I especially love her in The Stand as Julie Lawry, one of Randall Flagg's followers. I guess she's just really into Flaggs. 😆 Some sorta similar movies with gnarly practical effects: The Deadly Spawn, Brain Damage, Body Melt, Xtro.
