Consider Yourself Deputized - Twin Peaks S2EP13

This is actually one of my favorite episodes of the season so far!

Consider Yourself Deputized - Twin Peaks S2EP13

Suddenly I'm wondering if a town sheriff (in real life) would be legally able to deputize a suspended FBI agent under investigation.

"I hope I can live up to this" 😭

Glad you liked it. This is pretty much middle of what is commonly referred to as the weakest section of TP. However, I still enjoyed it. The body in the final shot at the chess board was actually played by Kyle's brother. You can see the chin resemblance.

Diane, James Hurley has become entangled in a melodrama involving a woman, a broken car, and what appears to be a poorly written crime novel come to life. I must admit, it tests my patience. One wonders what kind of coffee they’re serving outside Twin Peaks.. lol

I like the Civil War story just because it brought together like a new group of characters.

the james storyline is just too dramatic and out of nowhere especially mixed in with all the other criminal things happening, I ended up getting a mailbox with a different mailing company so I shouldn't be impacted by the strike (hopefully)

I'm really glad you're enjoying season 2! The Ben/Civil War, Dick/Nicky and James subplots are the main drags for me during these episodes... I cringe whenever we go back to them. I used to feel that way about the Nadine portion... but I've really grown to enjoy that (this is my fourth or fifth time going through the entire series). I really didn't care for the whole Leo/Shelly/Bobby stuff either... but it gave us a great payoff so I'm willing to give it a pass. Everything else though... Denise, Josie, Jean Renault, Windom Earle, Major Briggs, and everything to do with Harry and Coop are all prime TWIN PEAKS.

I don't think I've ever seen a Twin Peaks fan who likes this James storyline. As they never wanted to reveal Laura's killer they had to come up with quick stories which didn't work. You could save the Mailbox until the end of the series if the posties have started behaving by then. I do have something in mind TP related....
