Update: My mom passed away.
Added 2023-03-06 04:15:22 +0000 UTCFor those who didnt saw the discord I wanted to tell you I'm kinda away from internet/working cause my mom passed away from cancer (march 1) and I'm still dealing with a lot of feelings and things like funeral/cremation/inheritance and It's driving me crazy and I'm exhausted, its.. hard.
I want to thank you all tho cause you all supported me no matter what and that helped me so much, cause every step of this issue you guys helped me take care of her, if it weren't for your support I would have been lost the first night she had this problem.
At least these last years she was super proud of my art and my success, she literally liked so much the last christmas animation (she loved everything christmas) and said the girls were really cute and she wanted me to do more animations like that, she also loved the Cassidy plushie and she was excited to see Vinyl and Cassette plushies too, she asked me everyday when I was going to make them xD. She even helped me record some parts of the plushie commercial.
To be honest I'm kinda still on denial... like it's a bad dream... often I feel a hole in my chest.. so to cope a bit with all this feelings and... regrets... I drew this the night before her funeral so I could tell her how happy I was that she liked the girls and how happy I felt she got to know my characters. the caption says in spanish like the girls are saying "we also loved to get to know you, dont worry we will take care of your little Simon and your little steve (me and my brother)." I gave her this drawing in her coffin before the funeral, also my brother made a drawing of me and him and many members of the family so she feels we will always be by her side. and I just wanted to tell you guys, I felt the need to.

I hope you are feeling much better! The loss of a loved one is always hard, especially someone as close as your mom. I'm sure she was an amazing woman and lived a full and happy life with your characters in it!

Denial is normal, for no one wants to believe that something like this happened. Just keep in mind all the good times you had with her. Those memories you will always cherish. The best thing to do right now is to take care of yourself. Take it slow, and as long as you need. We all are good with waiting for however long it takes. Healing from this takes awhile. And we are all here for you. And if you ever need someone to just vent to, do. It helps more then you think (from personal experience). Whether it be a family member, or maybe a random person willing to just listen.
