The Fly (1986) - Commander tier exclusive bonus episode

Not in the idiomatic sense that we're feeling frustrated or anxious, but in the literal sense that we've altered our DNA through a teleportation accident and can now close our loft apartment windows without using a big stick.
All of which is to tortuously announce that we have watched David Cronenberg's 1986 body horror The Fly. Well, we say body horror, it's actually a mix of Cronenberg's schlock roots with his ever-more-evident transhumanism, his enduring fascination with insects, a heavy dose of mid-eighties AIDs-related social anxiety, and some Kafka because why not.

The human head and arm on a fly is from the 1958 "The Fly". I am stunned that Rob missed out on the fact that Eric Stoltz was cast in "Back to the Future" before Michael J. Fox, so by playing Martin, son of Seth, EricStoltz finally was onscreen as Marty McFly!
