Battle Royale w. Cheese! Turn 4.3 - 18 (Wetshirt Waterpark)

> APOLOGIZE AND LEAVE (BUT DOUBLE-CHECK THE LOCKERS)

Android 18 watched, trembling, as the catgirl raised a foot and callously crushed the empty juice carton, before kicking it aside without a second thought.

“What about nyou?” she said suddenly, eyes glimmering like rubies in a fire. “Is there anything nyou’d like to say?”

18’s Collar beeped. “N-no, no,” she said, shrinking back.

“Good,” said the catgirl, tightening her glare. “Nyow, hurry up and run along like a good little flesh-doll. It’s nyot long until I have to start hunting nyou, and I’d like to find some sport in this ridiculous game show.”

18 swallowed. Without a word, she scurried past the catgirl, out of the showers, and into the locker room. As she hurried towards the exit, however, her Collar beeped again.

With a gasp, 18 jerked backward, spun on the spot, and lurched towards a half-open locker. Wrenching it open, she reached inside, and…

Her hand settled on something smooth and plastic. It sloshed as she pulled it out.

‘It’ turned out to be a bright, colorful water gun, the kind a child might play with on the beach. Unlike a normal one, it had three tanks: one red, one blue, one green. A dial on the side of the gun allowed you to switch between them.

Moving on their own, her hands flicked the dial to ‘’RED’. Frowning, she aimed the water gun at the far wall, wrapped her finger around the trigger, and squeezed.

A bright red fluid spurted from the gun’s nozzle and coated the metal surface. As the substance soaked into it, the wall trembled and warped and began to run like molten cheese. 18 blinked as a puddle formed on the floor.

Satisfied, her Collar marched her outside.

Outside, in the coppery air of the waterpark, 18 hugged the water gun to her chest, ready to squeeze the trigger at any moment. What do I do now? Should she press on? Go back and try to save Bulma? Collapse in despair and give up?

As she tried to decide on an answer, she heard the sound of someone squealing in shock and frustration. Jerking to attention, she leveled her gun and looked around. It sounded as if it had come from the entrance. Was there another contestant in the park with her?

Her Collar beeped again.
