Started off as a hair style related to military helmets, but eventually it became a fashion style. Similar to how in the west sometimes mustaches or beards are cool / trendy, and then other times they're seen as unprofessional or slovenly, it was the same thing with this style. Shaved pate and clean shaven was a sign of sophistication and civility and Japan, while having hair showed you were nothing more than a savage and unrefined. So because it's an old fashioned style that's well known, it's an easy way to evoke that old fashioned feudal japan energy in a show, similar to how Game of Thrones got you thinking of it as a medieval society with the clothing choices and suits of armour.

The Jin-Woo hairstyle in nr 23, you will see that in lot of Korean series (manhwa, TV, movies...) From these OP I personally like - nr 15 by DAOKO > The Fated Magical Princess: Who Made Me a Princess - Cat's Eye by ADO, she did also the ED for this remake, btw I still prefer the original OPs - nr 40. > Kakuriyo S2 OP is good and the series is wholesome I would like you to react to KINGDOM new OP and ED, more like the ED I don't know, this season looks overstaffed with anime new titles that have very similar look. The amount of the new titles grows almost exponentially every year, so don't worry about knowing new titles. Unless you follow closely the studios announcement... The sad think is how many older or classics you have no clue about... the new stuff builds on the great fundamentals which would be great to explore 😉 For the Spyxfamilly... yes the 3rd season is here but you are not going to watch the 2nd season soon. The FRI/SAT YT slot schedule is over-packed till next fall, the nearest date is July 2026 for continuing Spyxfamilly, unless you move the retutning anime back on the Twitch as they are Twitch safe. This would also help with recommending you titles that have few short questionable scenes, like Psycho-Pass has...
