Though time must flow differently between worlds since Cid lived his entire life in the other world but in this world that girls barely aged. Somehow Cids atomic was so strong he made a black hole back to his world? Or was that the remnant of the portal and it just so happened to link between his world and Fantasy land? Also I love the fact that Cid is just a psychopath and doesn't even care about changing worlds or what's happened to this world. He just wants to aura farm and be the Eminence in Shadow.
