2025-09-14 21:05:53 +0000 UTCHaving rewatched this season now, I forgot how much I hated the changes made from the light novel, the rush of the early season and cutting out the rating game against Sona to this absolute travesty of last 3 episodes. Say what you want about the art style change in season 4 but the story was absolutely on point compared to this. Itโs such a shame as they could have really done great things with this season in the underworld.

From Issei going berserk they made everything up. When you watch season 4 you will start with ep 0, which returns to Issei going berserk and shows what truly happened in the source material. And trust me, forget everything about the last arc because it has no coherence whatsoever and kinda spoils something that happens in the next season.
