[SURVEY] Should I Post Work-In-Progress Animation Scripts?
Added 2025-07-30 10:46:50 +0000 UTCSince a majority of my animations are voice-acted now, I usually write the script about 3-4 weeks before the audio is edited/released, so I can send it to the voice actress with ample time for her to voice the script and send it back to me.
I was wondering if you had any interest in seeing the animation-script every month. It'd give you a much earlier sneak-peak into the plot/dialog of upcoming animations. I usually write the script 1-2 days after the animation-poll ends, for example.
It would take me a little bit of work to make a script-post every month, but it honestly wouldn't take too much time. My main concern is if the additional feed-posts would annoy people or not, or if you think it's even worth my time to post scripts. Let me know! Give completely honest feedback, this is sort of just an idea that popped into my head that I'm not overly attached to.
Also, dialog often gets cut/rearranged in the final edit, so I also wouldn't want to raise people's hopes with the script, only for their favorite part to get cut in editing. This is only a minor concern, though.
PS: The new animation is going very very well, but it's definitely a huge undertaking. I should still have the WIP-animatic done around the 7th or so, as usual.
