Painting smooth color transitions

Today I have for you a video tutorial about my technique of painting smooth color transitions between layers of colors using a retarder.
It's sort of an addition to this video tutorial about my blending technique:

I hope that my work will be easier to understand now.

Excellent tutorial! Do you think Vallejo's retarder would work well when combined with Pro Acryl paints? Or should I instead look for something equivalent made by Pro Acryl?

Your brush control is outstanding and I’m trying to improve mine by learning from your work. Could you please share which brush brand and size you currently use for your main painting work (especially for NMM, lining and details)? I noticed the bristles stay very firm and hold a perfect point even after long sessions — I’d love to know what kind of brush allows that. Thank you so much in advance and keep up the amazing work!
