Drake Hall | July Release

Hey all!

Today we're here with July's Drake Hall content!

Keen-eyed Patrons will notice that this content actually went live earlier this month, due to staff vacations and projects this month, but Harrison carefully curated and scheduled this post ahead of time to tell you about the maps!

This month's content introduces the Village Church to the village, where meetings are held, worship given, and healing magics can be sought. A displaced farmer seeking refuge at the church will tell characters about the Kobolds who have driven him from his home. Investigate the Ransacked Farm, and discover what's going on below the farmhouse in the Kobold Excavation!

Village Church

The Village Church is dedicated to farming, nature, and the giving/taking nature of the cyclical harvest. Although a place of worship, it also serves as a community centre, village herb garden, and meeting place for non-religious events and meetings.

We decided to make the main worship in Drake Hall a smaller-scale deity dedicated to the harvest, nature, and a bountiful crop. This felt more refreshing than the typical holy-centric church in most games.

Here, Father Thyme tends to his herb gardens, gives counsel, and offers healing services to those in need. Variants are included for day/night.

Foundry users are able to enter the building, and pass beneath numerous overhead canopy elements.

Ransacked Farm

Eugene Peckford is a well-known farmer in the region, who has fled his home due to the sudden arrival of a band of Kobolds. They are little more than noisy, chaotic and extremely dangerous toddlers, but quickly overran the farm in search of something. Variants are included for day/night.

Foundry users are able to enter the buildings, pass beneath the overhead canopy elements, and might even find their way into the tunnel the kobolds have been digging beneath one of the buildings. Where could it it lead?

Kobold Excavation

Hastily dug tunnels are reinforced with beams taken from the roofs of the ravaged farm above, as the Kobolds dug their way towards what is revealed to be an old draconic shrine.

Characters must fight their way through the waves of organised, devious Kobolds to challenge their leader, The Bigbringer, and find out what they are trying to do beneath this farm...

Drake Hall is available on pCloud for All the Things tier Patrons, and the Foundry module has been updated!
