I love how Lynn is a mix of emotions in these panels. It’s obviously a lot for Lynn to take in, considering how she is about to enter into a romantic relationship with her little brother.
You have the rational part of Lynn that is still somewhat trying to salvage that little shred of being a positive role model and older sister that’s trying to protect Lincoln. But taking into account that there are only two speech bubbles pertaining to that emotion, we all know how long that’s going to last.
Then you have the competitive part of Lynn – the side of her personality that defines her the most. And this can be seen in how she tells Lincoln to kiss her again (so nice, they did it twice!), and also how she plans to really prove to Lincoln how much she really loves him and refuses to let him go. She’s got those bedroom eyes that are conveying to Lincoln, ‘I’m ‘bout to buck you like a bronco!’ You certainly have no objection from me and more importantly, I don’t hear Lincoln objecting to that possibility. Makes me even more eager for what is going to unfold between them soon enough!
And lastly, when you get down to the heart of the matter, Lynn is still a girl. And her last two speech bubbles in the last panel really highlight the sensitive part of her being. She is still obviously scared about the ripple effect this will have on her and Lincoln if their forbidden romance is discovered, but she is still willing to risk it all to be happy. And at the same time, she is also showing the rare, vulnerable side of her personality as she entrusts Lincoln with her heart, subtly pleading with him not to break it or regret pursuing this love with her halfway through.
Lincoln, however, shows no second thoughts about going down this road with Lynn. And his response of ‘Never’ is just so firm, finite, resolute and reassuring. You just have to admire that kind of devotion Lincoln has for Lynn. When Lincoln declares how he’s willing to go to the end of the world with Lynn just to be hers, I believe every word he says. It just warms my heart so much!
I’m very relieved that the end of the song didn’t reflect in the scene portrayed here. But it does give off a vibe of ominous foreshadowing, so I will still be on my guard in the meantime.

I like how Lynn says “shut up and kiss me again.” You can tell she’s been waiting for this for a long time.

No going back. They’ve accepted their feelings and are going through it together.
I got a feeling Lucy’s watching undetected.

I’m still convinced someone was watching! But for now, they’re happier than they’ve ever been, and that’s okay :)

Lynn accepting her fate is completely unexpected, but is pretty based.
Still, here's hoping no one was eavesdropping on them, especially Lola; heavens forbid.
