Many of you have been long time supporters of LondonFurs, but there are also new ones that joined within the last few months -- just a simple message: thank you for your support.
You may wonder what we do with all this spare change. All your donations contribute to paying for the mundane stuff that keeps the meet running, such as insurance costs, and additional administrative things that we have to do.
Not wanting to quote a well-known supermarket, but, every little helps. We have more costs upcoming, and your continued support allows us to continue to make the meets and parties magical!
Those upcoming costs include decorations, printing posters and equipment hire. It all factors into the Artist Takeover events that we have had this year - last one of the year coming this weekend, 12th November 2024 - but also, Summer and Winter parties.
On the subject of this year's winter party (on the 7th December 2024), we will again have a boat party on the 6th, and more details will be revealed about that in due course.
Oh, and, yes, we're still thinking about how we do video content, and so on. Just... a lot happened in the last few months. Outside the fandom (yes, we have lives there!), things have been very busy for all the staff.
But this post is simply a thank-you. I'm sure I'll be posting something from Ani soon as well.
