Hello LondonFurs Patreon users! This is Ani Boxer here.

This is our first update since we started the Patreon project. Just wanted to say a massive thank you, and give you a really quick update in regards to some exciting news in regard to summer this year.

Obviously, we wanted to pass on a massive thank you to you all for contributing to both the meets financially, but also personally as well. I know a lot of you attend on the regular.

We’re extremely lucky to have such loyal and proud attendees, and obviously supporters of us. It really does motivate us, and gives us the energy we need to keep delivering amazing events for you all.

I’ll never forget the days of Bariki walking around shaking a bucket collecting change at meets to raise money for our deposits, insurance and parties. It’s great that now we have this technology so I don’t have to do that!

But I did want to assure you all that all your money is going towards our running costs, and meet delivery expenses, such as rebranding, signage, public liability insurance, event art and decoration, as well as — of course — venue securement. This money is spent on the community — the only benefit to us as staff is that we don’t have to use as much as our own money to do this now!

Our boat party, previously, has been a massive way of funding our events throughout the years. We’re super excited to be bringing another one for this summer to you all.

As a massive way of thanks, we wanted to give you all the option to sign up for our pre-sale, which will be happening on Wednesday this week [26 April 2023], with a view of getting the full event on sale at the meet on Saturday [29 April 2023].
