So I’m thinking of doing a question of the week type post.

What is YOUR favorite snack , food and or condiment?

I’ll go first!

My favorite snack at this moment is pickled okra.

It’s the crunch , saltiness and vinegar taste for me.

I don’t have a favorite food , but I’m not picky at all.

Last week I cooked some homemade manicotti for dinner and had a side of cucumbers with homemade ranch dip.

That’s what’s in the 2nd photo.

The 1st photo was just getting the ricotta out of the fridge. 😏

Condiment wise?

I absolutely love ranch. I’m talking restaurant ranch or homemade ranch dip… not the hidden valley or store bought type.

My family all has their own garden so my dad puts away dozens of jars of pickled okra every year of all different flavors

That is very unfortunate , but honestly processed foods are just that … ultra processed …. 🗑️. There’s so much food you can cook and recreate what you’re craving. That’s what I learned to do during keto. Make low carb versions or substitute ingredients. I bet you hardly have any inflammation due to your diet though!

I have a chronic condition and have to follow a strict diet, so no processed fake foods or sugary treats for me. One thing I do love though is chicken wings and I eat them multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day!
