Hi Bisscute 😊 from San Antonio Texas USA 😊 Wonderful reaction 😊👍✅Critics agree with you on the likability of this third movie mainly because there was a lot of time talking about the Jewish culture. There's a big divide between traditional Jews which are also orthodox Jews and non-traditional or modern Jews and the kind of humor that there was in a movie could be very controversial. The writer is a non-traditional Jew and so he pokes fun at his own culture. I think also your disappointment like many that the rest of the original cast were not included in this movie is also a deciding factor that this movie was not received as well as the other two. I parallel the Back to the Future three movies series with the fact that they were able to keep the main cast together and that's why that series has been so successful and loved over the years. When Jim introduces Michelle to his grandmother, the grandmother reacted exactly as a Jewish grandmother does... that is just completely stereotypical and the grandson wants to please his grandmother more than anything to get her approval. After getting a very good look at Michelle, the grandmother yelled out the word "goyeh" and here's the explanation for that word... "Goyeh" is the feminine form of the Yiddish word "goy," which means "nation" or "gentile," referring to a non-Jew, according to Hebrew for Christians. "Goyim" is the plural form. In some contexts, the term can be used in a pejorative way, but it's not inherently negative, according to Quora. In traditional Jewish thought, the only difference between Jews and non-Jews is that Jews chose to follow the 613 commandments at Mount Sinai, while non-Jews are bound by the 7 Noahide Laws." According to Jewish tradition Jews are not supposed to mix with gentiles and it is particularly sensitive at weddings and even more sensitive when there are children. When Michelle's father proposed the toast at the pre wedding dinner he used the word "shiva" which is a Hindu term instead of "seder" which is the Jewish term. Shiva is a Hindu god whereas Seder is a ceremonial meal just before Passover. That's why you got the odd reaction from Kevin's father. From a completely comical point of view this kind of comedy is what is called slapstick. The first part of this movie was pretty tame but as the movie went along it became more and more hilarious and you were doing your best to hold it together as the reactionary... You were great and this was enjoyable watching with you. As in Back to the Future...we have to have a Biff and American Pie we have Steve Stiffler. The competition between Finch and Stiffler for Candace's attention was very humorous and even though Stiffler ended up the girl...Candice... Stifler's mom appears at the end ready for round three with Finch. I enjoyed your reaction to the scene in which Finch remind Stifler that he had sex with Stifler's mom and then paused and you filled in the gap with the word "twice" and then he said twice.. this is why we enjoy your reaction so much...
