2025-06-26 18:28:13 +0000 UTCHi Bisscute π from San Antonio Texas USA π I second the suggestion of the Movie "Glory" (1989) as this stars Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman. This movie is set in the American War Between the States (1861-1865) Thank you for all your hard work and I appreciate you very much. Have a great day and bye-bye πππͺβ€οΈππ€²π―οΈππ±πΌπΊπΈπ΅οΈπ»πΏπ

2025-06-24 02:08:39 +0000 UTCI loved how you picked out that the M-16 was important early on. The pistol Walden used has a 17 round magazine and is depicted with a reasonable amount of ammo used. She should have been carrying 2 spare mags as well. Same for Illario and Rady. Altimyer should have had 7 magazine's for the M-16 at 30 rounds each or 210 rounds for the mission. Night Train should have had 200 round drums for the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) and should have had 2 spares for 600 rounds total. All in all I think they did a reasonable accounting of the ammo supply in the film except where Walden fires a few too many rounds out of the M-16 at the end, tho I can forgive it as they cut away and we can assume she reloads while we are watching Illario run away. Also, a fun fact, the tanks used in the beginning of the film are not Abrams as the film maker couldn't get any from the Army at the time so they dressed up British Centurions to look like Abrams and the sound designers used recording of 747's winding up to imitate the sound. Abrams use Jet turbine engines and are the only tank in the world that sound like that.
