2024-12-09 06:27:11 +0000 UTCAlso wanted to say that I saw elsewhere that some were complaining or confused as to where Batman is throughout this series/story. I think the series was always intended to be told as Oz's point of view, as well as Sophia and Vic. We know Batman is out there, but he is more of this almost mythical presence at this point of the storyline. It may have spoiled the experience of the storyline for these characters and their perspective, if he did show up. Then the perspective or attention would shift to him and you would lose the experience/perspective of Oz and everyone involved at this point.

2024-12-09 06:24:54 +0000 UTCSo as of right now, this is a limited series. Meaning there are no plans to continue to a season 2. Matt Reeves (director of The Batman), Has stated that the plan was to do a trilogy of movies. After the first movie was released, and since it was a success. It was decided to do a series based on the rise of Oz to power. Thus the ending of this series should lead directly into the second movie of the trilogy. So I think it is safe to assume that Oz will be part of said movie, and possibly or most likely Sophia will have a part in that story as well. We shall see

You mixed this up with 'whistle-blower,' who exposes hidden wrongs from the inside. Yes, Oswald has information to reveal, but this idiom points to his own background that must be 'clean as a whistle.' :) As a non-native speaker idioms always make things difficult.
