2024-11-04 09:04:06 +0000 UTCI might recommend, Dearest Biss, ‘The Outlaw Josey Wales’ for your next Clint pick…. I just love BCute, btw. I REALLY enjoyed your Chris Stapleton ‘Super Bowl’ video. You had said you want to look at other Anthems performed. I’m not French but this was a particularly important performance of ‘La Marseilles.’ Can you imagine hitting those operatic notes, whilst walking or being driven for over 8 straight minutes…. Seemed to be cold night air…. Right there at the Arc and the Champs?…. It’s pretty stunning: https://youtu.be/1QQ2k3UpHwQ?si=dpIgCmiiijUblamV

2024-09-29 22:07:48 +0000 UTCAlcohol doesn't heat you up in cold weather it just makes it feel like it. All it does is numb your nerve endings and you will still freezevto death no matter how much Alcohol you drink.

2024-09-29 21:10:13 +0000 UTCJust finished watching Unforgiven, glad you liked it. This isn't actually a "spaghetti western." Those were all westerns that were all filmed Europe, mostly in Spain with an Italian director. Most were made in the 1960s, and usually stared an American actor. The most famous one being The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. That movie was actually the last one in the "Dollars Trilogy". Three movies all staring Clint Eastwood. He played essentially the same character in all three. It doesn't really matter which one you watch first, but The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is considered the best. Two other westerns I would highly recommend are 3:10 to Yuma and The Quick and the Dead. Hopefully you will get around to seeing them soon.

2024-09-29 16:33:36 +0000 UTC"It's a hell of a thing, killin' a man. Take away all he's got, and all he's ever gonna have". Arguably the best Western ever. Definitely top 3 with Tombstone and The Good The Bad and The Ugly. There are no real good guys in this movie. Good does not triumph over evil. Just an old outlaw seeking a bit of justice and maybe a little redemption. This is Clint Eastwood's masterpiece.
