Biss, you have it EXACTLY backwards: this doesn’t remind you of Star Wars! This IS Star Wars. George Lucas took WWII film footage of this sort of stuff to explain what he wanted to the animators and such for the original ‘Star Wars.’ Not so many people of Lucas’ demo had seen that footage from WWII. The creators couldn’t picture it, “Wait, so…. The spaceman….. is inside the ship…… but he’s shooting back?…… so he’s the pilot?…… if he’s not the pilot, I don’t get it.

You put your best guy next to that thing, that scroll, that tablet, whatever, and tell him “You keep this until the last second, then destroy it before the enemy gets it. The Norden bombsight could NOT fall into enemy hands

2024-02-21 17:32:13 +0000 UTCAwesome reaction, like mentioned earlier the bombsight had to be destoryed in under to protect value information which it contained. And same goes for the enigma encryption machine, if that got in hands of the enemies it could of taken a nasty turn of event. There is a movie called Windtalkers with Nicolas Cage. Also based on true events. Used the Navajo language which is an american native language which is only spoken at the time around 500 people, they had radio conversation in Navajo so even if the enemies picked up on their radio, they wouldnt understand a word of it.
