I had very fond memories of this movie and the end reminded of some of that but I have since been spoiled by watching The Imitation Game. This movie is probably more emotional but The Imitation Game ranks even higher on my list. Both John Nash and Alan Turing were real people with extremely important theories and consequences. If you want another brainy movie, try that one, as well.

To be fair, I couldn't wrap my brain around it since I came into it wanting to see more "Gladiator" and I was not entertained. This was my second watch, freed from all expectations by the wisdom time allows one to attain, and I absolutely loved it. Thank you for this one Biss, I might never have watched it again and never realized what I had missed. Biss, you have a beautiful soul and it always shows out during movies like this. There should be a Nobel Prize for that as well.

2024-02-13 01:57:51 +0000 UTCYay finally 🎉Such a beautiful story! One can tell a lot how someone reacts to this movies and Bissy gets 5/5 💜💜💜💜💜 and a pen 🖋️for a such a beautiful heart. Ultimately to me this was a love story. Despite John’s lack of social skills he listened and assigned value to little things his wife said and did and everyone should be so blessed to have a wife/spouse that would remain loyal and faithful and not give up under such difficult circumstances. Ride or die x3000 indeed it gives me hope! In addition to Cinderella Man this actor, Russell Crowe, starred in Gladiator and another of his movies that is memorable and meaningful to me is Master and Commander. My dad was in the Navy and this was the last movie we watched together before he passed on. “Perhaps it is good to have a beautiful mind, but even greater gift is to discover a beautiful heart.” “the most important discovery of my life, is only in the mysterious equations of love that any logic or reasons can be found.” “I am only here tonight because of you. The scene where Marcy runs on the grass that was a sign that she was not real. Because the pigeons didn't react when she was running true them. Very nice reaction biss😄

Also Russell Crowe was actually the first choice to play Wolverine. He turned the role down but did recommend Hugh Jackman. Two more Russell Crowe movies that you should see are Master and Commander, and 3:10 to Yuma. As always Biss, an absolute beautiful and emotional reaction. Five stars.
