2023-12-07 21:46:29 +0000 UTCI have not seen this movie before, it was very good. I did however get a little upset about the treatment of tom hanks character. Didn't understand why someone wasn't able to help him. Wasn't there some agency that could help is guy? Overall I'd give the movie 4 stars.

2023-12-07 09:26:35 +0000 UTCWhoever picked this one made an excellent choice. The croissant/Romania story was not true. The croissant entered Europe after the Battle of Vienna 1683. The Ottomans fled their siege and left a lot of goods behind including coffee. So someone opened a coffee shop in Vienna and a baker created the croissant after the crescent shape on the Ottoman flag.

I know you don't like to cry but the things that get you emotional are a window into your soul that warms my heart and in a world where we constantly question who people are it resonates as deeply authentic. If you receive a giant box of tissues don't take it as a troll it comes from a sincere place. Now what does Fish say about the croissant? hahaha
