You need to react to Vietnam in HD, it is a full length documentary of the Vietnam war and also has the reporter Joe Galloway (The actual person) and you get to hear he and many others tell the account of their experiences with actual HD photos and video footage, it is hard to watch but amazing!

Custard's 7th Cavalry was pretty much massacred at the Battle of Big Horn back in 1876. It was not a good omen to being renamed the 7th Cavalry.

Hi Biss, at the end of the movie, Moore was standing at the Vietnam War Memorial. It is located in our countries capital and occupies 2 acres and is comprised of 2 walls each 200 ft long. On it is the name of every person who died in Vietnam. There are more than 58000 name on the walls.

Awesome reaction Biss, as always. This movie is really good, but this is a very heavy movie, i didnt dare to recommend this one due to that as i know it hurts you. Regarding the parachutetroopers experiment, it was just like in the Band of Brothers a first time experiment and was very successful and are still being practiced today BUT i'm not sure if they use it to deloy soldiers like that any more. All the lines in this movie is really powerful and Hal Moore is a man i need to learn more about. The movie shows not only about the men walking through hell, so does the women to the men in combat. They share the same burden and fear. Using the terrain and knowing the terrian is very important. That was one of the Germans strength during the world war 2 and they even walked through areas that was considered an impossible terrain so they were able to ambush from behind their enemy lines. In this war when they landed in Vietnam it was the very same ground the vietnam's soldiers had practiced on and lived at their entire life. The only adventage the Americans had in this war was the airstrikes and planes. Without it, it would of been a complete destruction and failure. Yet till this day the vietnam war is considered to be an victory for the Americans but they had never been so close to defeat and it took a huge hit and in many way Americans also lost in this war. It was a test of faith that took a nasty turn. It took many years before the Americans entered a real war again to make a different. If my history is not way off i believe first one after Vietnam was when they entered Iraq in 1987, 1988. Even tho there has been a few conflicts were the Americans aided. The Americans turned in to the police-nation of the world and sadly many people were angry at the Americans for not aiding in Rowanda 1994. The cost of War has increased due to heavy armory and expensive weaponary tech. After both entering Iraq and then in 1993 helping out in Somalia ( Black hawk down ) was close to recover the cost and the lost of lives to then move into africa to aid Rowanda. There is also a movie about that one called Hotel Rowanda i believe. LZ = Landing Zone. Really hope to see you more reactions, glad you got through this heavy one. I dare to say THE most heavy one.

You mentioned "Poisoned the forests in Vietnam". So the US sprayed "Agent Orange" on the forests to kill them in order to "see the enemy better". Come to find out, Agent Orange is EXTREMELY nasty stuff, nearly everyone that was around the stuff has developed one kind of cancer or another. Have never seen this movie before, not sure why, I think Mel Gibson is an excellent actor, maybe not the best person but a great actor. As to the battle of Custer, let's just say it did not go well for him and his men.
